Dear Graduates!
We would like this day to be a special and unforgettable one for all graduates of the Faculty of Economics and Sociology. We try to associate the graduation with a properly solemn setting for the presentation of diplomas. This is one of the reasons why you will be able to put on togas and get a souvenir cap with the inscription "Faculty of Economics and Sociology of the University of Lodz". We hope it will be a nice reminder of the end of one of the most wonderful and interesting periods in your life.
I wish you that the friendships and acquaintances made during your studies remain a source of joy and support throughout your life. We dream that you will not only return to our Faculty in your memories, but also join the activities of the Association of Alumni of the Economic and Sociological Academic Center in Łódź.

Who can attend the Gala?
The Graduation Gala can be attended by graduates who have met the below conditions:
1. They passed the bachelor's / master's exam in the period 02.11.2023 – 31.10.2024;
2. They registered via the form until November 12th, 2024;
3. They handled all the formalities in COS (Student Services Centre):
(a) In the event that a graduate has received a diploma - return to the COS of the original diploma of graduation by November 15th, 2024. The diplomas will be presented at the Graduation Gala on the 3rd of December, 2022.
(b) If the graduate has not yet received the diploma - receipt of a copy of the diploma and supplement from COS by November 15th, 2024. The original of the graduation diploma should be left at COS - it will be presented at the Graduation Gala on the 7th of December, 2024.
4. They paid a fee for participation in the event in the amount of PLN 42 to the account number 07 1240 3028 1111 0010 2943 4436 by November 15th, 2024. In the transfer title, it is necessary to enter "Graduation Gala of 2024 - name and surname of the Participant - Graduate"; the entire fee will be spent on purchasing a commemorative cap and borrowing a toga.
Where and when
The Graduation Gala will start at 12 pm (noon) on the 7th of December, 2024 in auditorium T1 at the Faculty of Economics and Sociology in Łódź at 39 Rewolucji 1905 r. Street.
It is advised to arrive minimum one hour before the Gala due to the procedure for issuing caps and gowns.
The gowns and caps will be issued in the cloakroom of building E (ground floor of the Information and Econometric Center of the Faculty of Economics and Sociology).
Taking seats in the auditorium
Auditorium T1 will be divided into specially marked sectors according to the fields of study. There will be cards with the names of the graduates on the desktops. Please take places as marked, thanks to which the awarding of diplomas will be more efficient. In case of problems, please contact the organizers at absolwentes@uni.lodz.pl .
Parking and directions
Car parking places will be accessible from Rewolucji 1905 r. Street entrance as well as Kilińskiego Street (at the Faculty of Economics and Sociology and the Information Technology and Econometric Center). It will also be possible to park the cars at the neighbouring streets (POW Street, Jaracza Street). Parking cards will be sent to the participants of the Gala (by e-mail). Please do not print cards – it is enough to present them in your mobile phone at the entrance to the car parking spots.
