EkSoc StartUP! is a competition addressed to creative students and doctoral students of all universities from the Voivodeship of Lodz, in which the best startup/business idea wins. It is organised by the Faculty of Economics and Sociology of the University of Lodz, together with its Business Council and business partners.

Students who participate in the competition individually or in groups of a maximum 5 people submit their ideas, and those who make it to the finals, thanks to the training and received mentoring support, refine these ideas and present them in front of the jury and the audience at the final gala of the competition.

There are cash prizes to be won:

  • the main prize – not less than PLN 25 thousand
  • distinctions – approximately PLN 1000

Being a finalist of the EkSoc StartUP! offers huge benefits to people thinking about running their own business: several months of support from two mentors (business practitioners from two different companies and institutions), a business training package, as well as contacts that will pay off in the future. Students develop their creativity and entrepreneurship.
